Ex-Goveraor John D. Long of Massa ahusetts wil! have aa article in the Forum ïor November on "The Use and Abuse of the Veto Power," referring especially to President Cleveland's vetoes. President Barnard, of Columbia College, has prepared for the Forum for November a sha:p article on the Knights of Labor, in which he charges them with " blockading ndustry" and "attempting to ooeroe society." In the November number of the Forum, the Rev. Dr. Henry Van Dyke will have an article in refutation of the claim of the Socialista that the Mosaio law and the New Testament teachings favor their doctrines. The series of articles on "Ttie Object of Life,' that has for some months been running in the Forum, will be closed in the November number by a contribution from W. S. Lilly, one of the ablest philosophical ■riters of Éngland.
