Rev. Dr. Barlow, missionary in Turkey, will preach in the Congregational oburch next Sunday morning. Rev. Dr. Ramsay will t&ke for liis subject Sunday eveniag, "A review of Gibbon's Account of the PropagaLou of Christianity." Professor Spaulding will lead the services at the S. O. A. meeting Sunday morning. "Some Applications of Natural Law" will be the subject. The Cocker League of the M. E. church will hold its first meeting Monday evening. A good social and fine programrae mav be expected. All are invited to at tend. Tomorrow (Friday) evening, the Young People'8 Society of the Baptist Church will give a social in the church parlors. A cordial invitation is extended to all to come and have a pleasant time. A crysanthemum exhibition will be held be in the court house, Nov. 5, commencing at ten a. m., and being in connection with the pomological meetiiig, that is to be held in the afternoon, all citizens and especially ladies are invited to attend. It will be a beautiful display. The regular meeting of the Unity Club will be held Monday, October 31, at 7:45, p. m. Followins is the programme : "Ruskin, The Phiianthrophist," ''India the Land ot Wonder?," bv Rev. Dr. Sunderland; "Wit and Wisdom Budget," "Illu8trations of the Delsarte System," by Miss Nellie E. Garrigues. Music and social hour.
