Washington, Oot 30.- The lirst ioreign protest against tbe cxecution of the Chicago Anarchiste, sddressed to the President of the United States, was received at the White House Friday. IS.- Tb the Prestdént o'tltf UniltdStat): The Council-General of tne Social Democratie Federation in Holland, feeling indignant at the infamous judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of the Chicago Anarchlsts. holds thatthe throwing of a bomb in the meeting held May 4, 188t. was provoked by an'outrageous assault of ihe pólice upon the people's rights of iree speech Furthermore. as the tlirower of the bomb is not known, the charging of the seven Anarchists with the guilt of this act is essentially arbitrary. and th1 outj;rowth of class hatred. Therefore, the Social Democratie Federation of Holland, in th" name of humanity, liberty and justice. protest airuiust the sentence of death passed ifpon the Chicago Anarchists, and despise the ruling classes for making themselves apartv to th-:s sturder; shall hold the President of the United States personally reBponsiblc if t'neir lives are taken.
