Lima, O., Oct .'!O.- A heavy ilow oí natural ga, bursting anexpectedly frorn a well near here, was ignited by a furnace fire and exploded wltih terriñc forcé. Samuel Hujrhes, a dríller, was mangled, and derricks, machinery, engines, etc., were destroyed by the fire. The gas jB Btüi burning, all étïorw to extinguían it being vain. .
