The Glee Club is now fully organizan and practicing three time? a week. It will consist of the fjüowing sixteeo: First tenors: G. J. Wagoner, W. H. Djdge, E. J. B yer, S. H. Cruwl. Second tenor: B J. Carpenter, R. G. Colé, C. H. Taylor, E W. W alter. First bass: H. V. Winohell, J. N. Blair, D. E E .vald, A. J. Vantine. Second bass: B. L. Green, E. V. Crane, F. D. Wiaeman, H. F. Pennington. They have fully deoided to take a trip during the Cnristrns holidays a-d will go west. The places where they will give entertainraents are not all de'ermined apon, but they expect to go as far west as S'. Paul and Mianeapolis, and, of course, take in Chicago, Hyde Park, and other places as they can tnake arraigementa. C intrary to all statements to that effect, thev will not favor m until they returo. May they bsve good times and eood housás, sing well aad make lots of money. The B.ston Herald of recení dnte, in a long article on poisons, has this to gay concerning one of our Ann Arbor professors: "Again, there are poisons which we know exist, giving rise invariably to the same Une of symptoms. and yet such poisons have never been materialized, but hava thu9 far bafflad ths chemist in his pursuit. Year after year science is unmasking poisons such as these. One of the greatestdiscoveries, of vital importance to mankind, is theharmful ag;èntdeveloped in milk and ita products, and which has caused ac ual epidemios of poisoning in this country. It h only recently that those visitations have been etripped of all that was mysterious by able Dr. Vaughan, to whom only credit is áw. There are, doubtless, many other poisons still concealed, awaiting exposure by the chemist's art."
