The second Chamber concert Dec. 2. "The Little TycooD," comic opera, at the Opera-housp, Monday, Nov. 28. Lottie Church at the Opera House Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings of thia week. The mothers' meeting Lor November will be held at the Congregaticnal church, next Wednesday at 3 p. m. Next Monday evening at the Unity Club there will be more about Ruskin and Prof. M. L. DOoge will give "Experiences in Greece." On account of Thanksgiving vacation, Prof. Wm. Clark's lectureg in Hobart hall, for next Saturday and Sunday evenicgs have been postponed to Dea 3 and 4. Dr. Eddy will preach the Thanksgiving fermon today at the union services in tbe (Jongregational churcb, at 11 a, m. A collpction will be taken for the Ladies' Ch&ritable Union. The young people's society of the Baptist church will give a social on Pririay evening, Nov. 25, at the house of Mrs. Goodrich, 9 S. State-st. An interesting program has been arranged. Services in St. Andrew'g churoh next Sunday as folio ws : 7:30, mnrning prayer; 10:30, holy communion and sermón ; 12 m., bible classes and Sunday school; 7:30 p. m., evening prayer and sermón. The po8!poned exhibition and sale of etchings and engravings will be held at Hobart hall, Wednesday and Thursday Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, afternoon and evening. A fine portfolio from Keppel's will be shown. The regular meeting of the Washtenaw county pioneer society will be held at Chelsea, on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 10 a. m. Ex-Gov. Felch and Hon. A. J. Sawyer, of Ar n Arbor, will deliver addresses. W. K Childs, of AnnArhor, will recite a poem relaiing to pioneer times. Tlte annual meting of the Washtenaw pomological society will be held in the basement of the court-house Dec. 3 at 2 p. m. There will be an election of delegates to the annual meetiiicr of the State horticultural society and Michigan beekeepers' association at East Saginaw, and other important business. There will be an exhibit of fruit, preserves, and flowers. Tno second lecture in the lecture course of the Congregational church will be given Thuredav evening, Dec. 1, by Prof. Elisha Jones. Subject: "A Winter in Rome." Thi8 series ot lectures is designed to be mainly a series of travelers' tales, and the character of the lectures insures each time an evening of profit. All who heard Prof. D'Ooge's very interesting lecture upou " Li'e in Athene," will want to hear the companion lecture upon Rome by Prof. Jones
