A Sudden Death
Cha. H. Davis, a compositor in the Democrat office, died at the residence of H. E. H. Bower, on Monday at 4 a. m. Mr. Bower heard a ncise in Davis' room about that time, and going up stairs, found him sitting in his bed. Davis exclaimed, " Heury, I am dying." As Mr. Bower was putting his lamp on the table, Davis feil from the bed to the floor, striking on his face which was considerably bruised. Dr. Tyler was called, but found Davis dead. An inquest was held by Coroner Clark on Monday foreaoon. Dr. C. G. Darling's post mortem statement was to the effect that he found a clot in the left ventricle of the heart, and another in the right Bide, which in his opiniĆ³n was sufficient to cause death. The jury rendered a verdict in accordance with the doctor's statement. The funeral services will be conducted under the auspices of Ann Arbor Typographical Union, No. 154, in the chapel of the M. E. church, at 3 o'clock p. m. today, Rev. Mr. Rameay, conducting the services.
