Antony Schiappacasse, an Italian fruit, dealer, wag struck bv two students, Wm, H. Boyle and Wm. liarles?, on Thursday evening last. Several students went into the shop, and Mr. S. charged one of them with stealing some napkins the evening before, and was a little demonstrative. Tbe two struck him, cuting his scalp open. It is claimed by llr. S. that one of the boys had a stone with which he struck him ; but the other side claims it was a ring which did the cutting. The students plea stands on the record, " not guilty," but they have been trying to 8ettle it "Tony" is Btill suffering from his injuries. The case is on fur trial before Justice Pond next Wednesday.
