" ReadThisThrough! " IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY. The nnusnally fine weather so far this winter has naturally hurt the Clothing Trade. When buying our winter stock we based our calculations on cold weather, and as we have not had cold weather, it followsthat there has not been as much clothing sold as there otherwise would have been. The result is we are overstocked on heavy gooda. About the first of December we advertised to give a discount of 10 per cent. on all purchasea. The number of people who have taken advantage of this offer convinces us that all people do not like to be humbugged. It is easy enough to write an advertisement offering $30 suits for $15.00, or offering i or J off. But stop, what does this mean ? If a suit or overcoat is actually worth $30.00, nobody is foolish enough to believe that it will be sold for $15.00. Or if goodsare marked at a fair margain, } off means that the goods wiil be sold for what they cost or lef s. No Merchant Can Do Business Nothing. We have a large stock of Men's and Boys' Suits and Overcoats. These goods were boueht for CASH, and bought right. We will divide our proĆ¼t with you until January lst. In other words we will give 10 per cent. discount on all purchases of Clothing. Our goods are all marked in plain figures, and marked to twlL A discount of 10 per cent. means that you can buy one-tenth cheaperof us thanothers offer.
