The sloop Favorito, reoently wrecked near Oriƫnt, Long Island, was commanded by Captain Andcrson, of Lynn, Conn., and was on her way to that port with a cargo of seawecd. The story is that whilo loading the weed they loaded with it an animal two feet long known as a beach weazel, and that the animal gnawed a hole in the side of the little craft below the water's edge, causing her to :.ouuder during tho night. When tho boat filled, says tha report, tho weazel clamberod up tho rigging, running or swirnming from ono place to another, until killed by the sailors.
