Sigler, of Pinckney, were in town on tfonday. Mr. Campbell has sold the Despatch to A. D. Bennett, and will enter he law department next Monday. Jacob Ganzhorn goes to Monroe tc-day to attend a farmer's institute which is ïeld under theauspices of the State board of Agriculture. President Willits and rof! Johnson, of the Agricultural college, will be there. A leap-year party will be given Jan. 27 y the Nil Dicit club, at Sheehan's hall, State 8t. Elegant invitations on brown wrapping paper will be iísued to a uumber of fortuuale young men, and an unusually ine social event is expected. About 60 nvitations will be issued. B. F. Wat is went to Grand Rapids, Monday, to attend the annual meeting of the grand chapter of Royal Aren Masons, ot which he was deputy grand high riest, and of which he was this morning ;lected grand high priest. W. G. Doty, J. 'j. Stone, and L. C. Goodrich, are also in attendance.
