Ikdianapolis, Ind., Jan. 25 - The Indiana Wool-Growere' Association niet hereyesterday and condemned the proaosition to place wool on the tree list Columbus, O., Jan. 25.- The Ohio woolgrowers meb here yesterday and adopted reeolutions practically demanding the restoration of the wool tarifit oí 1867; opposing the election of any one to Congress or to the Pr.esidency who is not publicly pledged to support euch a duty, and favoring the reduction of tho Burplus by abolishing the internal revenue tax on tobacco, and, if necessary, increasing the customs duties on all artiotes wÜich most severely compete with home production.
