Pleuro-pneumonia
Washington, Jan. 31.- Commlssioner Colman has written a letter to Henator Palmer, chairman of the Senate Agricultural Committee, regardine the suppregsion of pleuro-pneumonla The Commwsioner expresses the belief that the p'.an of State co-operation is preferable t the one which relies solely upon NatJonal authority, and says that the work ol extirpating peuro-)neiunonia, which is now being done by the bureau of animal industry, is going on smoothly, harmoniously and effectively by raeans of Suite co-opeiation. He thinks that this work should Ie continned upon thi same lines where it is now moving, and that it will be unfortunate and ill-advised if any new and untried plan be adopted.
