Eugene Fair, a boy 13 years old, in Ann Arbor town, over a week ago, was thrown from a htirse. The horse stepped upon his head behind the right ear. The cork of the horse's ehoe süpped on the sealp aboutan inch, then broke through the skull and penetrated the brain. Strange to say, the boy suffered no special inconvenience, and was not insensible. Last Saturday, ho wever, he began to suffer, and he was soon in a very critical condition with inflammation of the brain. Tuesday afternoon he died.
