Savings Association

At ihe meeting of the Arm Arbor Cooperative Savings association, last Saturday, three new articles to the constitution were proposed, and they wilt probably be adapted oext Satarday. These pro vide for the admission of new members, after April 14 next, who will be required to pay dues ouly from that time. Pereons joining now pay dues from April, 1887. Those who are now members are in series A. Series B will be started April 14, the beginning of the second year's work of the aseociation. Whenever there has been loaned to the members of any series as manv bundred dollars as there are sharee in tbat eeries, then sll payments of dues, interest, and fines by members of the series ehall cease, and all mortgages for loans shall be cancelled. The membel-s of any series who have not taken any loan on the whole or a portion of their shares, when the eeries to whicb they belong doses shall be paid by the association interest at the rate of six per cent per annum 'rom the date when the series closes nntil the time when such member takes a loan, payment of such interest to be made when tbe loan is taken.
