The Ann Arbor boiler and engine worka at the old Ann Arbor city foundry has lately been growing into a thriving industry under the management of R. Iïeevea & Co. This week another partner was taken into the firm, and the firm name is now as given above. Robert Hunter, the new man in the firm, is from Paria, Ont., and is an expert machinist, having worked in Erie and Oil City, Pa., and being thoroughly acquainted witli automatic enginea. Eight men are now employed at this place and the forcé will be iocreased. If the new engine mentioned by The Register a few weeks ago does only one-half of what is ezpected of it, a still larger forcé will be employed. Mr. Reeves thinks he will be running a forcé oí 25 or 30 men before long. They are doing a good business now, he says, in the way of repairing and job work and they are doing the castings and machine work for the Kalamazooo capsule company. The two actire men in the firm are experienced machinists and there seetns good promise of their building up a fiourishing industry here. As Mr. Krueger left Randall's gallery, Mouday moraing, to open his owa gallery over Brown's drug store, Mr. Kandall has a new operator. He ig R. VT. Iïarrison, and hails from Laudy's great gallery iu Cincinnati, where he worked oearly three years. Mr. Harrison also has had charge of one of Notman'8 galleries three years.
