Kew Vork, March 31. -During the se ven days ended yesterday there were 179 business failures in the United States, againBt 212 the previous eeven days. The total nnmber of failures in the Cnited States since January 1 is 3,053, against 3,128 in 1887. The liabilities aggregate $34,000,000, against $26,000,000 last year.
