During the past ten years Mrs. Ta'.cott has dispensed ovor $H00,O0Oin charitiee. Tne Old People's Home, the Hilf-Orphan Asylum, the ürphan Aaylum, the Foun Jling's Home, the Home for Iuebriates, the Hospital for Woraen and Children, the Woman's Refuge and the Home for the Friendless are a portion of those that have received Bnbstantial aid f rom her hand. Her private gifte havo, if any thing, exceeded tho6e given to public iiiBtitutions, and shc hus devoted at least .f500,000 to the cause of charlty.
