Fearful Work In China

Ban Francisco, April 23.- Advices from China received in this city yesterday give details of a series of earthquakes in the province of Yunnan extenüing over a month, by which over 4,000 neople were either killed or wouuded and nine-tenthB of the houses either wholly or partly demolished.
