Perry, one of Washtenaw's earlifgt settlers, died at his home in Lodi, April 5, aged 83 years. He was bom in Saratoga Co., N. Y., Aue. 31, 1804, where ie lived until 13 years of age, when he removed with his parentg to Genesee Co., tí. Y., where he resided 13 years. Ia 1825 he was married to Eliza A. Webber, [n June, 1829, he removed with his famïly to MichigaD, where he selected as his nome 160 acres on section 2, township of Lodi, where he regided 59 years, until nis rieath. Mrs. Grant Perry died May 5, 1869, they living toeether 44 years. From this unión 11 children were bom, of which now seven mrvive him, Mrs. Samïel Waters, of St. Johns, J. H. Perry, of Perry, O. C. Perry, of Maple Rnpids, Mrs. T. F. Morse, of Lima, O. G. Perry, of St. Johnp, Mrs. F. Marken, ot Lodi, and Miss Alice E. Perry, who still resides at. home. He had 22 grandchildren and 11 great ?rand children. He was married aa;ain to Mrs. Harriet Perry who still survives him. On April 6, Mre. J. Chaiham, of'St. John, a daughter of the di-ceasd, died, and his brother, Merritt Perry, nf Perry, Shiawassee county, riied March 8
