An adjourned meeting of the Agricultural society will be held next Mondsy at 2 p. m., at which time the judges will be appointed by tbe superimendents of all the departments. The Ann Arbor art club will open its annual exhibition next Wednesday evenine Jiay á, and it will continue until Fridav evemng. It will be held at the Ladies' library. About one hundred pictures are expected to beshown. Scanlan wil! be here next Thursday evening He has a bright, winning face, a graceful form, and a rich, melodious voice. He is full of music, sings well and can danoe a reel with the best. He will play here Fred. Marsdeu's "The Irish Min8trel." The Ladies' Aid socieiy will pive a strawberry and ice-cream festival Thursday evening, May 24, at the M. E. church Warm candymade to order, and hot muah are on the bill of fare. The young ladies in attendance, will be dressed to represent the seasons.
