The Corner-stone Laid

Washington-, May 25.- The oorner-stone of the nevv Catholio University of America was laid in this city yesterday by Cardinal Gibbons with apprpriate ceremonies. Misa Mary G. Caldwell, of Baltimore, who gave $300,000 for the university, was declared to be the íoundress oí the great work.
