Topera, Kan.. May 30. - Uovernor Martín on Tuesday pardoned A. M. Campbell, who has served fourteen years of a twenty years sentence íor criminal assault on his own daughtev, ;he State Board oí Pardons, after investipation, having ooncluded that the evidence on whieh he had been convicted was insuftioient: that he was innocent, and that his daughter had been incited by her mother to prefer the charge.
