Boston, June 9.- Rev. James Freeman Clarke, a distinguished Unitarian clergyman, died last evening in his residence at Jamaica Plain, a suburb of this city, after an illness of several days. He was born in Hanover, N. H., April 4, 1810, graduated f rom Harvard üniversity in 1833, and in 1840 he started in Beston the Churcta of the Disciples, to which he ministered up to th9 time of his death. He leaves a widow, two daughters and a son.
