Washingtos, July 11.- A statement bas just been received by Assistant ünlted States Treasurer Schwelsthal, showinjj the amount of pold and silver coin, and certlflcates, United States notes, and National bank notes in drculation July 1. Thera has been ooined $595,703,838 in gold coin, f299,708,790 in standar silver dollars, $70,495,794 in subsidiary silver. The amount ol gold certifícate issued is $142,023,150; eilver certificates, $229,491,772; United States notes, $346,881,016, anfl National bank notes, $253,368,321. Tbs total issue Is $1,942,473,681, and af this amount there are tö69,e45,18 in the Treasqry and $1,372,627,868 ia circulatioo. Of the money in oirculation, $392,066,854 is in gold. $35.839,303 ín standard eilrer dollars; $50,445.038 in silver subsidiary coin, $U9,887,3J0 in gold oertificates, $2OU,38ï,376 in silver certifieates, $308,697,812 in United States notes, and $245,314,109 in National bank notes. In National bank notes there were issued $8,123,695 and redeemed during June, $6,564,022. The report shows a decrease In goM coin of $4,312,778; of silver dollars $682,517. of subsidiary coin $25,212, of United States notes, $4,055,004, fit National bank notes $3, 79, 738 during June, and ?n increaae of $10,305,640 of gold certificates, and $8,741,971 of silver certiflcates, a net increase of $1,179,363 in tha money in clrculation. There is a net increase in the Treasury over June of $13,004,272 in coin, bullion and noton.
