Des Moixes, la., July 13.- Rev. J. Hayden, of Jefferson County, Ia., was accidentally killed by a Koek 1 si and train near Fairfield. He had been fishing and sat down on the track to rest. He was bom in Hamüton County, O., in 1812, and had been a minister in the Methodist church forty years, serving most of the time as presiding eider and preaehing in all the larger cities of Iowa. He was a memoer of the Iowa Legislature from the First district. '
