Fifteen Hundred Homeless

Alpena, Mich., July 12.- Fire broke out in a saw-mill on tho cast side and spread so rapidly that it was soon beyond control. All the buildings for a space of three blocks wide and half a mile long were eonsumed, causing a loss oí about $300,000. Fifteen hundred persons ara homeless and rnany are seriously hurt. Mrs. McLain was so badly burned that she will die.
