Newburgh, N. Y., July 21.-Rev. E. P. Roe, the well-known no%list, died in tuis city yesterday, of neuralgia of the heart, aged SOyears." Mr. Roe was best known to the literary world and the world at laree as the author of "Openinsr a Cheslnut Burr," " Barriers Burned Away," a tale of the Chicago fire; "The Gates Ajar," "He Feil in Lovewith His Wife," "Without a Home," "The Earth Tremblcd," a tale of the Charleston earthquake, etc.
