PiTTSBUHGH, Pa„ July 2O.-The Republican Congressional conferrees of the Twenty-fourth Pnnsyivania district met and broke the deadloek of threemonths by nominating J. Warren Ray, of Greene County, for Congress. Over 200 ballots were taken. Great Bbsd Kan., July 20. -The Demnrratsof the Seventh Congressional trict nominated W. H. Ebey, of V ïchita, for Congress. Jacksox, Minn., July 20.- The State Prohibition convention met here and Judge E. G. Peyton was chosen chairman. Bishop Galloway suceessfully advised agaiust an electoral ticket. A resolution favoringtho repeal of all internal revenue taxes was defeatea. A resolution demandinsr that the State Legislature pass a protaibitory law as adopted. H., July 21.- The Republican State convention will be held in this eity September 4. Milwaukeb, July 25.- The State conrention of the Republican party of Wisconsln will be held August 23 in Milwaukee. This was decided upon at the first meeting of the new Republican State Cental Committee in session in the Piankinton Heuse club-room.
