A Hopeless Task

Sioüx Palls, D. T., Sept. 10.- A private letter from Eev. W. J. Cleveland, oí the Bioux Comraission, says: "There is little or no prospect of success as things are now. We have 60 far twenty-nve at Standing Rock and 111 at Crow Creek, and are just opening flre at Lowei Brulo with hopes of securing at least half the voters."
