NoRWicn, Conn., Sept. 7. - Colonel George L. Perk in s, aged 100 years and one month, died at the Fort Griswold House, in Groton, of oíd age. He was treasurer of the Norwich & Worcester railroad for fiftyyears. He has voted for every President since Madison ; was paymaster in tho war of 1812, and organized the lirst Sunday-school in Norwich.
