Lewiston, Me., Sept. 14.- The Lewiston Journal has returns irom all the town in Maine. Burleigh has 79,(503; Putnam, 61, 108; Cushing, 2,971; Simmons, 979. Republican plurality, 18,495. The Senate is unanimously Republican. The House has 123 Republicana and twenty eight Democrats. ïkdianapolis, Ind., Sept. 14.- Id a letter to the editor oí a paper at Mauch Chunk, Pa., General Harrison says that the story that he said a dollar a day was enough for a working-man is not a plausible lia and' does not requiie a denial. Little Rock, Ark., Sept 14.- The official returns f rom the State election are all in, and the majority for Colonel Eagle, Democratie candidate for Governor, is 14,981. Boston, Sept 14.- The Republicana of the Tenth district nominated for Congres yesterday Joseph H. Walker. Little Rock, Ark., Sept. 14.- The Third district Demócrata have renominated Congressman T. C. McRae. Louisvii.t.e, Ky., Sept. 14.- Congressman W. G. Hunter was renominated by the Republicans of the Third district yesterday. Frankfort, Tenn., Sept. 14.- Joseph E. Washington was renominated for Congres by tho Democrats of the Sixth district yesterday. Colümbüs, O., Sept. 14.- The Democrats of the EigKteenth district have nominated Dr. O. P. Ikert for Congress. Jacksojí, Miss., Sept. 14.- Henry Kornaghan was nominated for Congress yesterday by the Republicans of the Seventh district Madisox, Wis.. Sept 14.- Congressnjaa R. M. La Follette was renominated by the Republicans of the Third district yesterday. In the Eighth district the Democrats nominated Dr. Samuel C. Judson. the Union Labor candidate. Mason City, Ia., Sept. 14.- In the Fourth district the Republicans have nominated J. H. Sweney for Congress. Madison, Wis., Sept. 15.- In the Second district yesterday the Democrats nominated Charles Barwig for Congress. Detroit, Mich., Sept. 15.- The Prohibitionists in the Fifth district have named B. B. Godfrey for Congress. Boston, Sept. 15.- John W. Candler was nominated for Congress yesterday by Ninth district Democrats. Columbus, O., Sept. 15.- The State convention of the Union Labor party had seventy-five delegates. They adopted tha National platform of the party and aominated the following ticket: Secrelary ol State, George Ebner, Franklin County; Supreme Judge, J. H. Tuttle, Lake Coun ty; member Board of Public Works, W. J. Drimniface, Wood County. St. Louis, Sept. 16.- Dr. C. M. Norwood, the late fusión candidate for Governor of Arkansas, will contest the election of Governor-elect Eagle. Dr. Norwood claims to have been elected by 700 majority.
