Columbas, O., Sept. 13.- In his addresg at the Grand Army encampment yesterday Commander-in-Chief Rea said the total membership oí the order was 361,362, a gain of 33,280during the lastyear. During the y ear 4,433 comrades died. There waa expended in charity $215,973. Milwaukee was selected as the place for the next encampment. Columbus, O., Sept. 14.- At the National Encampment yesterday morninfl the election of a Commander-in-Chiet was in order. After the nominationg were made.Major William Warner, of Missouri, was elected. Colümbos, O., Sept. 15.- The largest and most successfnl encampment in the historj of tbe Grand Army came to an end yester day afternoon. Before adjournment Com mander-in-Chief Warner announced tha following as his choice for staff offlcersj Adjutant-General, Eugene F. Veigel, Mis souri; Quartermaster-General, John tay lor, Pennsylvania; Inspector-General, George 8. Evans, Massachusetts.
