Through The Rapids

Niágara Falls, N. Y., Sept. 17.- After raany trials C. A. Percy made his seoond trip through the Whirlpool rapids yesterday afternoon. On the way his boat waa dasbed to pieces, tmt having on a Ufe preserver he managed to keep afloat until ha ■vras picked up by a boat near Lewiston, after a swim of three miles. Percy haa unintentionally performed a feat never beíore attempted- that of swlmming tha Devil's Hole rapids.
