Baptist Convention Of Michigan

This body holds its fifty-third Anuiversary with the Baptist church in this city, commencing on Tuesday evening, Oct. 16, and closing Sunday evening, Oot. 21. It is muoh desired over the state, and is in itself very desirable, that the different religious organizations hall occasionally meet in Ann Arbor, making it their opportunity of becoming better acquaintéd with the State University. It is '25 years since the Baptist convention met here, and 50 since its first meeting at this place. The other denominational bodies have held their anniversaries here in recent years. It will be necessary to have the entertaining of the delegates shared in by families outside of the Baptist church, and a committee will leave invitations for such ccóperation within a few days.
