Chicago, Oct. 2.- Two failures were reported on the Board of Trade esterday as the result of the recent wheat corner. The unfortunates were Frank Clifton & Co. and B. C. Orr. It was in the power oí "Oíd Hntch" to ruin one-third of the traders by adTancing December wheat to $1.25, and the question was would he do so or relent! The wildest tumult existed in the pit, and it is said the oíd man yielded to the entreaty of his son Charlie, and sold out 7,000,000 bushels, thereby averting the threatened disaster.
