Coleimucs, O., Oet 15.- Allen Q. Thurman has íormally acoeptcd the Democratie nomination for the Vice-Presidency. In his lelter he praises President Cleveland's Administration, and saya a just appreciation of his course calla for his reelection. He approves the platform of the Bt. Loois convention, and strongly dissents "irom the heretical teachings of the monopolista that the welfare of a people can be promoted by a system of exorbitant taxation (ar in excess of the wants of the Goyernment." In conclusión Mr. Tnurïnan says: "It seems to me that if the policy of the Democratie party is plainly yresented all must onderstand that we aeek to make the cost of the living les, and at the same time lacrease the shar of the laboring man in the beneilts en' National prosperity and ffrowth."
