Miss Matilda Kuhn bas gone to Kalama■00. Martin Noli has moved into his new resdence. Miss Lizzie Clinton is visiting friends in Detroit. Harry Hall gave a party last Friday evening. Mrs. A. Matthews left for Tallapoosa, Jeorgia, yesterday. Dr. Root, of Mason, was a visitor in Ann Arbor yesterday. Mr. and Mre. Porter Lathrop have gone back to Detroit to live. Mrs. C. Klotz, of Preston, Canada, is visiting her eister, Mra. R. H. Kempf. Mr. and Mre. Mahr, of Dakota, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howard, of Bowery-st. D. F. Allmendinger went to Mooreville Tuesday, on business connected with the organ works. Mrs. Charles Reed, nee Addie Cole, started for her future home in Dallas, Texas, Tuesday. Albert Flynn, of Detroit, attended the Baptist convention, and remained in Ann Arbor this week. Mrs. Charles Callahan, of Chicago, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dounelly, on Ann-st. Miss Julia Rominger, after an eight weeks' visit ia Canada and in Buffalo, returned Monday night. Mrs. Roe, of Detroit, and Miss Duff, of Séneca Falls, N. Y., are guests of Mrs. Walsh at the sheriffs residence. Edward Roe, of the Lansing Iron works, and one of the hustling young men of the capital city, was in Ann Arbor Tuesday. F. Stofflet and wife entertained Rev. Mr. Oliver, of Muskegon, and Dr. Ferguson, of Tecumseh, delegates 10 the Baptist convention. Robert Ryer, who has been in Oregon two years, hag returned, and with Louis Rominger will engage in the book business in Detroit. Dr. and Mrs. Arndt will spend the winter at the fatnous million dollar hotel, Del Coronada, San Diego, Cal., where tkey go for Mrs. Arndt's health. Timothy Ryan, an old Ann Arbor boy, now of Jackson, was married yesterday in Jackson to Miss Kittie Fluer. A large number of Ann Arbor people attended the wedding. Rev. and Mrs. J. T. Sunderland, assisted by some of the youDg people of the society, gave a very pleasant tea and reception at their home last Saturday evening, to the students and other young people who are new corners among them. John Koch, of Koch & Henne, was married about 1873. Last week Tuesday was thefifteerth anniversary. A large number of the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Koch took them by surprise on that evening, and made it very pleasant for them, leaving very Bubstantial evidences of their regard. H. N. Roys, son of A. H. Roys, of Ann Arbor, is editor and proprietor of the Farwell Register, the proprietor of a drug store, and is an express agent. The people of Farwell want him for postmaster under the next Republican administration. Mrs. H. N. Roys returned to Farwell, last Saturday, after a visit in Ann Arbor of three weeks.
