This is the title of the latest, and by all odds the most charming book for little Deople we have ever seen. lts fables, or stories are delightful, but the illustrations are simply immense. The au;hor, Palmer Cox, is a new star n the juvenile firmament, but he ehines with unique brilliancy. His charming ïsbles rival those of the world famed .iE-iop, and he far outshines that celebrated literary cornet by hip inimitable illustrations. He dressee up his birds, animáis, insects, giants, fairies, goblins, etc, in grotesque style and mskes thera reason, talk. dance, and cut up all soris of the oddest pranks imaginable, affording infinite deliglit as w-ll as excellent instruction to the young. The issue ol his book " Queer People " has brought a perfect ovation of praise from the brightest men in the land. For insta'iee, Gr n. Clinton B Fiskoavs: " It has set my children wild with délight," and Col Rusell H Oonwell, the famous lecurer, cays: "Don i send me anolher such a book, for I carit get my children to bed." The sale of this book will surely be enormous. It is published by thu well kown house of Huobard Br s., Phila., Chicago, and Kansas City, to whom any persons desiring an agency should apply.
