Ward Goes To Washington

New York, Nov. 25.- John M. Ward, the great shortstop of the New York charapions, has been sold to the Washington club for 12,000. Ever since it has become generally known that Ward has positively declared he would not play in Gothamnext season there has been a hustle among the baseball magnates to buy his release.
