Indianapolis, Ind., Nov. 22.- At the convention of the Knights of Labor yesterday a resolution was adopted to appoint a committee to investígate the methods of the general oflícers of the order, Delégate Crowell, a clerk in the general office at Philadelphia, charging that the business methods were of a questionable character. Indianapolis, Ind., Nov. 23.- In the General Assembly of the Knights of Labor yesterday the Finance Committee reported that there was much evidence at hand showing that the manner of disbursing money was loóse. Mr. B rry stated that he would form a new labor organization. Within the last few days he has received numbers of letters from Knights all over the country pledging him support. Indianapolis, Ind., Nov. 24- The order of business yesterday morning was the election of ofticers, and nominations were at once called for: For grand master workman, Mr. Powderly was nominated by Daniel J. Campbell, of Scranton, and Martin Hanley, of New Jersey, by Victor Drury. Mr. Birch, of Ohio, was also nominated. The vote resulted: Powderly, 114; Hanley, 27; B.roh, 1. For general worthy forenian, Morris L. Wheat, oí Iowa, and Henry A Beckmeyer, of New Jersey, were nominated: The ballot resulted: Wheat, 83; Beckmeyer, 50. Three candidates were presented for the office of general secretary-treasurer, viz: Frederick Turner, of Philadelphia; Mr3. A. P. Stevens, of Toledo, and John W. Hayes, of New Jersey, present secretary. Mr. Hayes was chosen. Mr. Fowderly was selected to represent the Knights of the world at the Paris exposition. Indianapolis, -nd., Nov. 26.- Atthe session of the Gteneral Assembly of the Knights of Labor on Saturday H. A. Beckmeyer, of Newark, N. J. ; John O'Keefe, of Khode Island; Rudolph Kirchman, of St. Louis, and Oliver D. Benoit, of Montreal, were elected members of the General Co-operative Board. Indianavolis, Ind., Nov. 27.- Mr. Powderly in an interview expressed himself as eotirely satisfied with the work of the eession of the Knights of Labor General Assembly, with the exception of his own re-election, which, he says, he neither expected nor desired. The general master workman added that he had been offered a much better position, and that the papers had been all drawn ready for signing by which he was to receive 16,000 for about three months' work.
