Hoag, of Adrián, spent Sundy with friends in Ann Arbor. Mrs. Rev.E. A. MagofBn, of Cheboygan, is visiting at C. H. Millen's. Mrs. C. H. Kelsey, of Milan, spent last week with triends in this city. Mrs. Schmid, of Second-st, celebrated her COth birth-day last Sunday. Miss Einily Smith, of E. Huron-st, went to Detroit, Tuesday, for a visit. Walter Bell and wife spend Thanksgiving in Ypsilanti with their parents. Miss Josie Henion, of Toledo, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Will Daty. J. Q. A. Sessions and wife spend Thanksgiving with friends in Ypsilanti. Miss Emma Schmidt returned, last week, from a four-weeks' visit in Buffalo. Miss Edith Dayton, of Lansing, is at Mre. Hill's on State-st, for l'hanksgiving. Geo. E. McKean, of Dundee, ühio, spent last Sunday with fnends in this city. John Monroe, of Roraulus, N. Y., is visiting his cousin, G. M. Monroe of this city. Ernest Perry, of Ann Arbor, has been chosen historian of the senior literary class. Henry Binder, of Detroit, apent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Lindeuschmit. Miss Bertina Büsb is spending Tbanksgiving with Mms Britton, on Cass-ave. in Detroit. Fred. H. Belser and wife last Thursday evening, celebrated the sixth anniversary of their marriage. Miss Lulu Moore is in Toledo for Thanksgiving, and Mr. and Mrs. John Moore in Detroit. Mrs. James Donegan aad two children have gone to Chicago to spend Thanksgiving with her sister, Mrs. Monahan. Charlea M. Belding and Miss Mary Lock, both of Bnghton, were married at the residence of bride's parents Nov. 21. P. R. Cleary,Mi88 McMahon, Miss Pearee, and W. H. Brooks and wife, were in Ann Arbor Mond y evening to altend the concert. Rev. D. M. Cooper, of the Jefferson ave. churoh in Detroit, sat in the Ann Arbor Presbyterian church pulpit, Sunday, with Rev. Mr. MacCracken. Miss Joeie Heiand, of Onondaga, Mich., and Mre. John Bender, of Lansing, are visiting the latter's daughter, Mrs. Fred. Lawience. on Washington-st. Rev. Gelston returned from Connecticut, last Wednesday, where he spent two weeks. He was called by news of the sicknes8 of a sister, who lived tour days after bis arrival. Rev Mr. MacCracken, who preached in the Presbyterian church, Sunday, now oocupies the position in the University of Kew York, held by President Tappan before he carne to Ann Arbor. Henry Mager will be married to Misa Katie Sohlect, at ihe horre of the bride 8 parents in Ann Arbür township, today. Mr. Mager is an old Ann Arbor boy, but he is now s farmer in or uear Superior. Dhc. 6, at the residenoe of Mrs. Dr. Sophia M. Hartley, at 40 Williams-st, will ocour the marriage of her daughtnr, Miga Louiae Meinderman, to Mr. Killilea, law '86, now practicing in Milwaukee. The Chequamegons will be on hand to supply tho music. A pleasant erent occured today at noon at the residence of J. G. Schairer, 40 Second-8t. Itwa the murriage of hisdaughter, Miss Eunice Schairer, to William Steufer, president of the National bank in West Point, Nebraska. The bridn i' a sister of our popular merchant, D F. Sohair er. The couple were atten'led by Cari Q. Schairer, of Ann Arbor, and Eva Schairer, of Saline, young nephew and niece of the bride. Among the guests were Miss Pauline Steufer and MNs Alice Schairer, both from West Point, Nnbraska; Mra. C. R. Reimold, of East Sagina, another sister of the bride; and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gifferd, of Chicago, cmsin of the biide.
