Business füiluros during the last seven days number for the United States, 350; Canada, :iS; total, 387; as aga nst 299 last week, and 207 the corresponding week of last year. Failures are usually numerous at ttiis season of the year for a variety of reasons, but 387 in one week is probably the higtiest number ever recordcd in this country in that period of time.
