Montiïeai-, Can., Jan. 30. -A special dispatch to the Star states that sixteeu mea with twenty horses have been drowned while crossing the ice on Lake Kideau, Ontario. No authoritative confirmation of the news can be obtained, as the tele#raph office is closed there. The accident is reported to have occurred by the caving-in of the ice near the village of Suhbury, ünt.
