Oa Monday evening Dr. Vaughan was called 10 J. E. Talley, a senior literary student, at the Alpha Delta Phi house, and pronounced him to be suffering from varioloid. Mr. Trtlley had been suffering for a couple nf dys, but did not suspect the cause. He had returned from a visit at Philadelpha about two weeks before, and was probably exposed to the disease while there. He had been vaccinated but not until after he had heen exposed. He has a very light attack and is not dangerous. Dr. Vaughan immediately notified Health Officer Breakey and means were adop'ed to prevent the spread of the disease among the members of the fraternity who had been exposed. The house and all the persons that were theie were thoroughly fuoiig.ued and disuifected. A supply of vaccine points were obtained and all of ihe boys vaccinated again. As so many had been expoped and as the case was a light one, it was decided not to remove th patiƫnt, who is located on the third floo of the buildinii, and to quaraniine the boy at ths honse until all danger is over.
