Drowned In Pine Lake

Canajohabie, N. Y., Feb. 6.- News reached here yesterday of a calamity which occurred Monday afternoon at Pine lake, in Fulton County, which will cause a shock in all the Muhawk valley región. According to the information reeeived the ice gave way under a party of twentyiour logeers engaged in drawing logs cross the lake, and of the nuniber seventeen were drowned. Their teams also perished.
