Chicago, Feb 5. - The death-bed confcssion oí Ella Schwartz, vvifo of Harry Scliwartz, tho brakeman, now serving a sentunce in Joliet prison for complicity in the great Rock Island train robbery and the murder of expresa messenger N;chols, is made public here. Aecording to lier statement her husband gave her $13 500 of the stolen money coni caled in cartridge sliells. This money was, after Bchwartz'a arrest, delivered to hawyer W. K Bowman, of l'liiladelphia,who came here to dc-fend icliwartz. No trace of this money tías ever boen secured.
