Marquetti?, Mich., Feb. 5. - A placard has appeared on the door of J. V. Knapp's bank announcing its suspension. No statement can be made yet. There are a large number of depositors in sums ranginp from Í2.000 to t50. Mr. Knapp enjoys a good reputation, and it is believed the depositors wiü not lose. Mr. Knapp is sick at home. The inmediato cause of the collapse is said to be the ex tremely hard collections and a large draft which could not be met. The failure probably represents from }30,0ü0 to Í50.000.
