It is the ablest journal of itakind. ______i__ Thb American Pomological society will hold its 22d biennial session in cala, Florida, Feb. 20-22. There is a program on the subjects of "Commercial Poniology," "Scientiflc poinology," "Insect and fungus remedies," " General fruits and fruit-growing," Sub-tropical fruits," etc. The subject if " Nomenclature reform " will be pened by T. T. Lyon, of South Haven, . Mich. Erwin F. Sinith, of Washington, D. C, formerly of Ann Arbor, will talk on "Our present knowledge of the peach yellows." The secretary is A. A. Croiier, Washington, D. C, who6e permanent address is Ames, Iowa.
