Chicago, Feb. 9.- Little 6-year-old AnnJe Redmond, who was kldnaped last May, was found at the Home for the Friendless In this city Thursday by a neighbor o f Mrs. Redmond and restored to her mother. The íather of the child became insana over the loss oí his child. He was griven permission FrMay by the asylum authorities at Kankakee to return home. He was overJoyed at the recovery of his long-lost daughter, and it is believed it will have the effect of fully restoring hls reason. The child was kidnaped by a Mrs. Gurley, the wit' e of a painter or printer. Tbe treatC ment of the little gtrl by Gurley awakened i the wrath of his neighbors, and last ' ary the child was taken from him and sent to the Home for the Friendless. Gurley was fired $:iO, but the officers of the justice court unwittinirly allowed him to escape, Bince when nothing has been learned of his whereabouts. Chicago, Feb. 11.- Josie Gurley and her husband, Harvey, were arrested Saturday irorning, charge d with the abduction of Annie Tessie Redmond, and are both held prlsoners.
